i5-6600k or Ryzen 5 1600??

Hi guys, I want to build a gaming pc. It will be use for gaming and programming. I thought on this build that I made on PC Part Picker with Ryzen 5 but I already have an Intel Motherboard LGA 1151 and a good CPU Cooler.

What model Intel motherboard? That will determine the CPUs available.

Sadly Intel has pretty much abandoned that CPU socket. Unless you will get the i7-6700, I'd say try to return the motherboard, and the cooler too if it isn't compatible with AM4. The Ryzen 5 1600 is better for less, and you can upgrade later if you need.
