So I have my 6600k for some time and its been clocked at 4.3Ghz @1.225v, this week i tried to overclock it at 4.5ghz and got it stable at 1.31v (after stress and gaming tests). My question is if this is a safe decent overclock for like more +2/3 years?

do you have any suggestions? should i stay at 4.3ghz 4.4ghz?

My max temp is 62ºC

i5 6600k
cryorig h7 cooler
asus z170m-plus

thanks for your time

4.5ghz on the 6600k is not a huge OC and it will be perfectly safe to run for years as a daily driver. You may be able to get a couple more hundred MHz on the clock, but you will probably see an increase on temps. Pending on the CPU and board, you will probably hit a hard wall around 4.8ghz on the 6600k.

For me, I like to keep my voltage below 1.35 and average temps under load below 80C. That is as high as I like to run my chip for daily use. So I would push the CPU till it hits either of those barriers or it is not stable.
