i5 6600k vs i7 6700k

Is it worth taking i7 for heavily gaming ?

asus z170 maximus viii hero
8 gb ddr 4 crucial 2133 mhz ram
evga 750 b2
phanteks pro

Honestly, programming don't really demand much from a PC, therefore the concern here is on gaming....And once again I will be honest, for almost all of today's games there will be no difference in performance between the i5 6600k vs i7 6700k processors......So I would tell you that if you are only into gaming and programming and will not be doing any video rendering, editing etc, then an i7 6700kis waste of money since you will never use more than probably half its ability....

i7 future in the game can make the difference?

I'm trying to decide between i5 6600k & i7 4690k build. I usually upgrade once every 4-5 years so I gotta make it count. Newer games like fallout 4 witcher 3 attila total war seem to benefit from hyper threading. Do you still think the i5 is the way to go ?

No when you put it that way I think buying the 6700K is the more prudent decision!
