I5 6600k vs r5 1400 ?

Hi I'm planning a build for this summer (I know it's a long way off) and would like to know if the i5 6600k will be good, and your thoughts on the r5 1400 ? Paired with a GTX 1070. Thanks..

Wait for benchmarks on the r5 then make your decision.

r5 has not been released yet, so no idea if it will be good or bad and what mainboard you might need for it

if you still have time, be patient, intel can lower prices alot more and amd seems to be a solid offering, but that one you mention will only be available until april
