i5-6600k with GTX 660.. eh?

The title says it all. I want to build a new PC, but my budget forces me to keep the graphics card i currently have (Asus GeForce GTX 660) i think this card is good enough, but i want to hear it from other people, especialy from people whohave some experience with these two components. If you want to know full specs of my build let me know, i will make another thread about it.

The 660 will work fine with the 6600k, although I dont really see the need for skylake as the boards and chips are more expensive.

Well the reason i picked skylake is that it's new so my build will hopefully be good for a longer time. I was thinking a lot about it and i decided to go for 6600k instead of 4690k (which was my original plan) because it costs almost the same (at local store). Only the motherboard costs a bit more (around 50$) but that seems ok for me.
