I5-6800k or Ryzen 5 2600x?

hey there.. i'm looking to upgrade my CPU+MOBO and i'm torn between the I5-8600k and the Ryzen 2600x, i currently have a 1060 6gb + FX-8120
anyone have any suggestions on what would be best for 1080p gaming?

8600k paired with z370 give you more fps in most games,

but i think 2600x is cheaper by a good margin, it also come with a cooler.
for 1080p gaming, i would say 2600x is good enough.

Pretty much as zyh1987 states.

Main consideration would be the refresh rate of your monitor. If 60Hz then you won't see the difference (though some will claim you can feel a difference).

Price vs performance (especially for 1080p) you can't go wrong with 2600x
