These are links to the notebooks I'm eyeing. I'm from Malaysia, so the market is kinda weird because budget gaming laptops are equipped with only 4gb ram, obviously they're trying to make more profit by offering ram upgrades.

RM4.2k should be around 1k ish USD.
Both equipped with only 4 GB ram, so adding another 4GB costs extra. Both 1tb HDD + 128gb SSD in system memory.
Both of these laptops are cheapest in their respective graphic card equipped laptops listed on the website.
Weirdly the Asus FX503, GTX 1060 3gb is similarly priced to the Acer Nitro 5, GTX 1050 Ti ones so not surprised it's the GTX1060 MaxQ version, eventhough not stated.
Looking for opinions on which one to pick? I'll be using it for college, so I might need to use AutoCAD or similar programs sometimes but obviously I'm trying to play games. Especially Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 7. What are you opinions in choosing 1?
From my pov, i7 7700HQ and 4gb vram GTX 1050 Ti is more future proof because games are getting more and more demanding. As for the i5 7300HQ and 3gb vram GTX 1060, I know the GTX 1060 has more horsepower compared to the 1050Ti but I'm not sure if the i5 7300HQ will be a bottleneck in the near future in games. Definitely need to lower graphics settings to not overload the vram but I'm pretty sure it'll produce more FPS if they are both equipped with the same processor. I'm leaning towards the Asus FX503 i5 7300hq, GTX1060 3gb because of brand and possibly higher gaming performance. Hope I can get helpful opinion from experts, thanks!
TLDR : Asus FX503 i5-7300HQ GTX 1060 3GB vram, 4GB ram vs Acer Nitro 5 i7-7700HQ GTX 1050Ti 4GB vram, 4GB ram.
