i5 (7300HQ) or i7 (7700 HQ) for gaming

so im planning to buy a new gaming laptop but now im confused should i get an i5 7th generation with good screen ips panel gtx 1050ti 4 gb vram 16 GB of ddr4 ram 1080

and the other is i7 7th generation not great display TN panel gtx 1050ti 4 gb generation vram 16 GB of ddr4 ram 1080

its just t processor that is different please tell does it make a difference in gaming

it tests 10-20% faster.
And considering that both are quad cores - that 10-20% doesn't come from hyperthreading or any other features, and does equate to raw performance.

That said, a 1050ti won't take too much to push.

I'd still go with the i7. With laptops - you want as much power as you can get, especially for gaming!

Since you can't upgrade the cpu later, get the better one i7 if you can afford it
