i5 7400 or i7 2600

Is i7 2600 still good for gaming i am getting a nice price on i7 2600 or i should be bying a new processor i5 7400 . I want to play games in 1080p with GTX 1060 which processor will be good ?

Do you already have a motherboard that support the i7 2600? Then I would just get that one, will be fine for couple of years. Fir the i5 you must get a new motherboard, ram and reinstall windows. While performance wise they are equall, so if you have a motherboard that supports the i7 and its a good deal just get it.
