Hello guys I'm planning to upgrade my pc, but I'm confused which one to upgrade first due to my limited budget..

I want to upgrade either my CPU (ofc with its mobo and ram) or my GPU. mostly I use my PC for gaming on a 720p monitor and college daily use. I read that GTX 750 TI is still very capable to run most games at 720p, and my CPU will bottleneck hugely.

My options are:
i5 750 -> Ryzen 5 1600
or
GTX 750 TI -> GTX 1070

Btw my specs are:
Proc: i5 750 4.0Ghz OC
GPU: GALAX GTX 750 TI
Mobo: Gigabyte P55 UD3P
RAM: Corsair XMS 2 4gb DDR3
PSU: Corsair gs600

please give me your opinions, I'll very appreciate it :)

Solution
going for the vga seems to be fine, your gtx 1070 will be bottlenecked on 1080p ultra setting though, but other than that it runs just fine
if you're going to change the CPU instead, remember that ryzen's speed are also determined by your ram speed so i suggest you get a ram with at least 2133 mhz (2x4 will be great enough for gaming and doing college stuff)

Edit: Price for 1070 right now is pretty volatile, unless u managed to get a good rebate, i suggest going with the 1080 instead
