Hello everyone, soo about 6 monthes ago i built my gaming pc
Specs :
Pentium G4400
Crucial 8gb ddr4 (2x4) 2133hz
Gtx 1050ti
Evga 500w
128gb ssd
Asus h110m-k

Its working perfect, but recently i have been saving up for an i5 7500.
My question is is the i5 7500 compatible with the MOBO? Yes i know i have to update the bios etc... But the mobo only has 1 4pin cpu slot is that enough for the i5?
And if it is is the ram compatible?
Thank you very much guys ;)

Solution
Your RAM works just fine with any Kaby Lake CPU (e.g G4560, i5-7500, i7-7700K) and so does your MoBo, provided that you have BIOS version of 3016 (or newer).

As far as CPU 4-pin power connector goes, you're fine with that one too. CPU 8-pin power connector is needed for CPUs more than 100W TDP and/or when you OC your K-series CPU on a Z-series MoBo. i5-7500 has only 65W TDP and it works just fine while having only 4-pin CPU power connector.

That is not really ture the old 130 watt processors had a board with a 4 pin connector.
8 pins is usually for boards with a better power phase delivery.
Their no problems with that board after a BIOS update if needed with that processor.
