So I am using the cryorig m9i with my I5-7500 and my idle temps are around 40c and my temps when playing games like dark souls 3 and wow are never about 63c. Just want to make sure these temps especially the idle temps are good. I thought the cooler would generate better temps then stock cooler but only seeing a 6-7c difference at max load. With idle temp about the same. I have the smart mode enabled for my fans on my motherboard. Should I manual set the fan speeds or just leave them on smart mode? If manual then what speed should I set then at? Sorry for the long post. This is the first computer I've built and want to make sure it's running properly. Also I have my temperature set to 74 degrees in my apartment. With it being 90 degrees outside.

Well the load temps are totally fine as that is normal, leave it in smart mode, and also when the pc is idling are there any cpu intensive processes running in the background? if there arent any also 40C is totally fine for idling. Everything seems to be fine.

Solution
