[SOLVED] I5 7500 or ryzen 5 1600x?

Hi

Currently running a G4560 (b250 mobo) paired with a GTX 1050.
Got a good deal on a RX580 8GB but I don't want to bottleneck.
Wich should I get? I5 7500 only CPU is needed, ryzen 5 1600x should also need to buy a b350 mobo. They are the same price in my country.

In your case I'd get the 7500

it depends on the game, for new titles such as BFV I had issues with an i5 7600k, after switching mobo and CPU to an Ryzen 5 1600 the framedrops dissapeared. This was because of the amount of extra cores/threads, it helped a lot on CPU intensive games.

It totaly depends, if you only want to play games then definitely consider I5.
