Hey Everyone!

Its my second post here, and as per all your suggestions i am finally upgrading from Sandy Bridge i5 2500 to Kaby Lake i5 7600. I would mostly use this build for mild gaming and editing purposes so I would appreciate some feedback as this is my first build and I have almost no idea what I'm doing. I tried to look at several guides and recommendations but I have no knowledge in building PC so, please, correct everything that seems wrong/overpriced to you.

The i5 7500 isn't much slower, and should be cheaper. You do not need that CPU cooler. That PSU is nice, but quite expensive. Might want to find a less expensive tier 1-2. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

That board is nice, but kind of expensive as well. If you can get it, the Asrock B250 Pro4 should be much cheaper. With enough savings, you might be able to squeeze in a faster GTX 1070.

To be honest though, your current i5 isn't really all that bad, still. Might want to hold off on the CPU, ram, and motherboard upgrade, and see what Ryzen 1500x, and 1600x bring performance wise.

All looks good. But you have an expensive board selected for someone using a CPU that can't be OC'ed. Likewise, the PSU is great but much more than necessary for the CPU and GPU you've chosen. Nevertheless, I won't ry to disuade you. The specs as listed will allow future upgrading of the CPU and GPU should you decide you like gaming more than editing 😉
