Close call. But I would go with the Ryzen. See my signature below. I have both the i5-7600 and the Ryzen 5-1600X. The Ryzen slightly outperforms the i5 in most games I play, and if you OC, has more potential. Plus the 6C/12T CPU will make a huge difference in newer multi-threaded games and apps over the 4C/4T i5.

without overclocking how will it perform
and if i plan to buy rysen 1600 fit in my budget
how is 1600 as comparied to 7500
and i own a gtx stix 970 oc edition 4 gb ddr5

Check out that link to give you an idea. However, get a b350 series board and you can get it to 3.7ghz or so pretty easily on stock cooling. With that overclock I play everything I want on high/ultra settings. If you don't want to overclock, you night get the 1600x and a cooler. The 1600x is a bit faster I think on base clock speed, but the 1600 can be overclocked to close to the same performance as the 1600x. But overclocked, I like my 1600.

Bad thing about the i5, it will do good for now, but when it starts getting older, if games get more multithreaded, the i5 may struggle a little more.

Between those two processors... at stock clocks you probably won't be able to tell the difference in gaming scenarios. If you have no interest in ever OC'ing the CPU, get whichever build you can get for the best price. OC'ed, the unlocked Ryzen 5 will beat the locked i5-7600, tho. But at stock, not enough of a difference to matter until you get into heavily threaded apps/games.

The stock 1600 should be close enough to the stock 1600x so as not to make much difference. And a tiny multiplier bump on the 1600 would even things back out.
