[SOLVED] I5-7600K and Asus Mobo

Hello. Im using Asus Maximus IX Hero Motherboard, but i need upgrade for (ARGB lights). i cant understand can i buy

ROG MAXIMUS X HERO
ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO (WI-FI)

and run with my my i5-7600k CPU ?

No you can't buy them. The aren't compatible with 7th Generation CPU's...Sorry.

Simple answer: No

You have a 7th gen processor which can be known by looking at the first digit after the brand name/identifier. In your case: i5 is the brand identifier while '7' indicates its generation. Maximus X Hero only supports the newer 8th gen processors while XI Hero supports 8th and 9th gen processors.
