Question i5 7600k cpu hitting 100% usage

Hey while playing basically any game my cpu usage is consistently hitting 100% usage. My cpu temps are reaching about 80-85 degrees C. I've even had it hit in the 90s before closing the games down to prevent any damages. My PC is completely free of dust, I've reapplied thermal paste, still nothing helping with temps. Though it might be anecdotal, all parts besides my gpu are around 1 yr old, but recently i've added more RAM. Can't be sure if the RAM is whats causing the issues, because that was a couple of months ago and been having the problem for some time.

Specs i5 7600k, GTX 970, Asus Maximus X Hero, 32G Corsair Vengeance DDR 4 3000mhz, Corsair H100i V2 AIO cooler.

Your Processor can be Overclocked...so did you do it? because that sometimes makes the CPU unstable.

I've updated my bios, and its not overclocked atm. Its running at base clock speed 3.8

How old is the fluid pump/AIO?

Quite often, at the 2-4 year point, they lose effectiveness due to internal hard water deposit fouling, microleaks/loss of fluid, etc... ; if only a year old as you implied, yours might still be under warranty. I'd look at your temps, those are quite high for stock clock speed operation...

Scythe Mugen 5 Rev B is about $45 I think.....

Yeah the pump i bought around the same time. I"m convinced the problem seems to be core utilization, and the heat is a side affect.
