i5 7600k & GTX 1080 mini

hey folks
i just need some suggestions about upgrading my rig.
i have checked that zotac's 1080 mini is performing same as the bigger one's (amp , amp extreme excluded) also here mini version is 120$ cheap than of amp edition. so should i go with gtx 1080 mini or 1080 amp edition.
also , what if i go with i5 7500 instead of 7600k ? will it bottleneck 1080 ? if i go with i5 7500 i will save 65$.

What is your current build including psu? What resolution and Hz is your monitor?

i am going to change my build completely , currently i am using old rig with poor amd ii x6 , gtx 950 and i got 1440p monitor with 60hz. i am looking for corsair 550 watts psu for the new setup of i5 7500 & GTX 1080.
