My temps on my cpu are reaching as high as 85 degress celcius after one game of pubg. Is this safe/normal and if its not how to remedy it. I only have two case fans at the moment (one push one pull) but i plan on adding more once my fan hub arrives.
 
Not to worry... at least too much.
If temperatures get too hot the cpu will throttle or shut down to prevent damage.
That is around 100c.

I would not worry if the temperature occasionally gets past 85c.
If it is constantly there, worry a bit.

The problem is that the cryorig C7 is not a particularly effective cooler. Top down coolers rarely are.
You have only 100mm of cooler headroom so a typical tower type cooler is out.
Probably the best cooler that will fit is the noctua NH-L12.

If you want better cooling, consider installing stronger front intake fans(at the cost of more noise)
Try taking the case covers off and see how much that improves things.
 

Haven't overclocked. might check thermal past and connection soon.
 


Would an AIO with maybe like a 240 rad help at all? I am pretty sure the corsair h100i will fit in my case.
 



It may be too late for this but it occurs to me that the 1080 sc your using is probably causing a CPU bottleneck. meaning that your 7600k can not keep up with the 1080sc, and when gaming your I5 is probably maxed out the entire time. maybe not IDK you could use the cpuz to check usage% you will probably see that your I5 is 100% while probably never maxing the 1080. the other way around would be better in theory. but less than 100% on both would be a proper balance.
