I5 7600k or AMD 1600x

I am planning to build a new pc.
My major use will be for programming, photoshop, illustrator, indesign, premiere pro, Autocad mech/electrical, Revit MEP.

My budget is a little tight to ₹60,000 (US$923).

Which proccessor will best for my use, Core i5 7600k or AMD 1600x ?

What if I raise my budget to a I7 7700k or AMD 1700x?

Which one will be best on both budgets?

Hard to say, it depends which you use more. Photoshop, Illustrator and Autocad will likely be faster with intel. Revit may benefit from the extra cores of ryzen. Premiere Pro, depends on what you plan to do since there's so much variation.

Puget Systems has a pretty in depth review where they cover a variety of situations in Premiere Pro. Sometimes the ryzen 8 core cpu's have an advantage but more times than not they're tied with the 7700k. It depends on which applies to you. In just exporting to 4k h.264 alone they cover 8k red, 8k prores 4444 hq, 8k dnxhr hq, 6k red, 4k red, 4k prores 4444, 4k prores 422 hq, 4k h.264 etc.

If you use premiere pro/revit most of the time, ryzen may help. If most of your time is spent in photoshop, illustrator, autocad etc, then intel will be a better choice. There's going to be a slight tradeoff either way.

r u sure u can accommodate a 1600X with cooler within 60k? look for a 1600 which comes bundled with a cooler instead.
