In my country (Norway) these three cpu's price are identical, which one should I go for.
I game and browse like 70% of my computer time
I might edit and do homework on it 30% of the time. Maybe I will start 3D Modelling.
Will the Ryzen CPU's be better in the future, when theres updates etc?
Also if I go with the i5-7600k ill get the z270-a pro, is it good for oc'ing the cpu?
Powered by a CX600M
and 3000 mhz 8 gb ram.
Thanks for any help.

If there is even a slight possibility that you will do 3D Modeling then you should get the Ryzen CPU. In any productivity program where multiple cores are utilized Ryzen destroys the i5.

It performs about the same as the 7600K on most games (slightly lower especially at 1080p where max frequency is important and helping Intel) and it has 6 core 12 threads which should in theory provide you with a system that can still handle future games that might need more than 4 cores.

Depending on the games you play the 1600x will be the best for the future. Yes the i5 will do better in games but games like battlefield 1 and others, are maxing out that cpu, all cores running at 100%.

Now throw in some 3d modeling and other things, the 1600x looks better and better. Just get a good B350 MB and 3200 ram and you are all set.

Ok, ty. But only for gaming would you go with Ryzen? Also is 3000 mhz good enough? Last question: Is a retail CPU bad?

With how the memory multiplier is currently in Ryzen, the memory runs at the next step down. 2400, 2667, 2933, 3200. So the memory would run at the next available which would be 2933, which is about standard.

What do you mean a retail cpu? I've always ordered my CPU's from Newegg or amazon or tigerdirect. All fine i know in norway it might be different from where you order.
