Will i5 7600k for on Asus b150m gaming pro motherboard ?

If not, will it for after some bios update ?

I know probably i5 6600 will fit but would like to get 7600 as itd coupe pounds dofference in price.

yes the i5 7600 will work, but only after the bios is updated to 0601 or better

if you are buying new, and the bios is not up to that or better then it will not boot

it can, some 100 series motherboard need bios updates, some new one already updated from the factory. but wait, are you going to use i5-7600k or non k? because the motherboard cant do overclock, so you better get the non k one

The 7600k has a higher clock. By 300MHz if I remember correctly.

yeah 300mhz base higher, 100mhz boost higher, i kinda hate the fact that intel made their non k and k version of their processor have different clock now:/
