i5-8300H v/s i7-7700HQ. which one is better for gaming? Both with GTX 1050TI GPUs

I have shortlisted two laptops finally!
But I am confused only with the cpu performance benefits.
i5-8300H @2.30GHz or the i7-7700HQ @ 2.80 Ghz.
I am aware of the turbo frequencies of both the processors.
I just want to know the 4-core turbo clock of the i5-8300H.
Feel free to opine, but kindly do not suggest a better system because I am budget bound.

With the same video card there is not likely to be much difference in games, if any. I'd go with the newer CPU even though it's an i5 vs i7.
