What game settings are you playing in? Also, try and check Task Manager, you might have some other rogue program using your CPU.
Fortnite : Its around 150 average, but when i look on tilted towers, i get around 50-70 and when i fly near retail i get around 70 fps. I can really feel when the fps drops because i have an 144hz monitor
How about you run fortnite with nothing else going and see what your CPU usage is. Your CPU usage may still increase but so will your GPU which will increase FPS. The more You bog down your CPU the less GPU you can use.
well, that cant be the problem that causes the cpu to be 100% performance all the time. But if it is. WHY? It cant just be the browser?
Sorry as I am to say this, it is most likely your browser that is causing these slowdowns. Close it and try playing Fortnite again. Or don't, and keep playing it as you have this far. That is your choice, we can only give you advice.
