[SOLVED] I5 8400 or r5 2600?

I am looking to buy a new cpu but i am not sure which one i should get

I will use the cpu mostly for gaming (csgo, fortnite, f1 2019)

8400 should be fine for those games in particular but if considering future games as well id recommend the 3600 as well.

What system do you have currently? 8th gen 8400 does require an 300 series motherboard / ddr4 ram.

I will buy everything new (mobo, ram) but what do you guys thin about the 2600? Because i dont have money for the 3600

What graphics card are you thinking and what resolution/Hz? And if considering other more taxing games in future?

No the only game i grind is cs and sometimes f1 or fortnit3 i have a 1050ti and 144hz monitor My res in cs would be 1280 × 960 or 1920 × 1080 it depends on how i feel

2600 only beats it in CS if overclocked and using faster memory.

8500 if not too much out of pocket more, even better.

If you are considering playing newer games or more demanding titles, go for the 2600.

If your only playing csgo the 8400 is better.

I prefer the R5 2600 as it is cheaper than the 9400f or 8400 where i live.
