I5 8400 overheating issue while streaming

I stream on youtube with medium settings using OBS. But today when i was steaming after an hour my pc turned off and a message poped up with blue screen that your pc ran into a problem and when i restarted my pc i saw the reason was overheating.. it's been only a week i got my 8400 and i have played high end games on it but it happened during the stream only.. is there's any solution or i have to get a cpu cooler for i5 8400 or can i just run the stock cooler from intel?

In general you can use the stock cooler of the i5-8400 since this processor does not do OC. But the temperature also depends on how ventilated the pc case is and the ambient temperature.

Make sure the cooler is correctly positioned.

What temperatures do you have in idle and in load? room temperature?

What did you see when you turned it back on that indicated it was overheating? What was the max temperature?

Did you build this pc yourself? Did you make sure the heat sink had proper contact with the CPU?
