[SOLVED] i5 8400 running at 100%

I recently had a problem with my computer running slow, I got a message saying my cpu was getting too hot. I installed some motherboard driver and for a while I worked okay. Now I see my cpu is running at 100% only on one task (csgo), which isn’t that hard to run. My spects

Cpu: i5 8400
Gpu: gtx 1060 6gb
Ram: 16gb, getting more
Motherboard: B360m bazooka

What temps is your CPU running at? (Idle & Gaming Load)

If your using the Intel stock cooler they are barely adequate for heavy CPU loads and overheating would cause performance issues (thermal throttling).

As for the CPU usage it depends on what your running in the background. If it's at 100% while idle with no extra programs running then you should run a antivirus/malware scan as either could cause a high usage.

While playing csgo it was 53c, idle though it was 46c. I have the intel stock cooler but I just ordered a new one, true spirit 140 power, if that’s good. When I tested how csgo run I didn’t have any background taps open, just csgo.
