i5 8400 vs Ryzen 5 2600

Im looking to build a new pc. Which cpu would be better for mainly gaming. I usually run other things on my second monitor like youtube. Can you also recommend a motherboard for the cpu you think is best. Im going to be using a GTX 1060 or 1070.

Well. Gaming is Intel domain, but if you run multiple things at once Ryzen is your choice.
Youtube might not be a problem, but IF you like to multitask, and you plan to go with 3'rd screen (or screens are 4k) then take RYZEN.
