[SOLVED] I5 8400 with rtx 2060?

I think I’m going to upgrade to an rtx 2060 and was wondering if my current i5 8400 will bottleneck it. Help!

If you play a game like League Of Legend your CPU 6 Cores 6 Threads will not bottleneck that 2060 but if you play a game like Warzone a game that can use 50% of 12 threads your CPU will be having a hard time pushing the FPS.

I just told you. Your CPU will not bottleneck your 2060 if you don't play intensive 3D games that don't use more than 6 threads. You won't see any bottleneck on these type of games but you will see one on modern games.

So the answer is yes and no. It depends on what you're doing.

Compared to i7 9700k, it will bottleneck a bit, not too much.
