Hello,

I have overclock my CPU (i5-8600k) using this as my guide:

MOB: Asus Prime Z370-A

I overclock using bios and the recommended voltages for 5gz was around 1.290-1.340. I tryed 5ghz on automatic voltages but that where way to high temps. In this perimeter i could not get a stable overclock so i turned it back to 4,7Ghz and turned my setting back to automatic.

I would like to have a good static overclock but i dont know how.
My current automatic voltages: 1.495v
Core clock: : 4,7GHZ
Clock Offset: : 2
Tempatures: : 75-83 Celsius

Could anybody help why i cant get normal voltages, if more information needed i will respond asap

Solution
Is your cooling solution adequate? One does not simply get '5 GHz all core' with a few mouse clicks and no side effects...such as heat.

If your auto voltage setting applies too much, perhaps you can try a negative offset in Intel's XTU application... (allows easy application of positive or negative offfset in .005 V increments.)
