I decided to build a new PC a while ago. Today I got the components from amazon but noticed the 8600k comes with no stock fan. 8600 non k was released after I made the order which I would have preferred. I was planning to use the stock fan since I don't plan to overclock, just like i did with the 3570k but since I got no cooler I have to buy one.
I'm not a fan of the bulky coolers like the Hyper 212 EVO so I found the Noctua NH-L9I which seems to be slightly better that stock.
My question is, would this Noctua NH-L9I be enough for a 8600k? Or do I really need something like Hyper 212 EVO? I understand the TDP is 95W while the 8600 is 65TDW, so while i do prefer the Noctua I want to keep it safe. No overclocking planned btw.
