Btw this is Philippine peso. I wont go i5 8400 currently because of the lack of cheap motherboard.

Mainly for gaming(Dota 2/Pubg/OW only because i dont play AAA mainstream titles) and some casual video editing. Iam planning on doing unboxing videos for youtube but i wont be doing 4k videos because Philippine internet is shit.

Please criticize my build, both will be running a 1060 6gb(which is very hard to find fuck miners)
Btw both build can OC correct?I dont know which boards AM4 is overclockable.

And the Intel one is 80$ higher priced than AMD. But Intel has better performance

Solution
6 fast threads of the i5-8600K will be better for gaming than 12 slow threads with the ryzen 1600.
A good 8600K chip can oc near 5,0, a good 1600 chip will oc to perhaps 3.9.
Few games actually can make use of more than 2-3 threads.

As to coolers, the inwin 301 supports a maximum of 158mm cooler height.
The cryorig H7 is only 145mm and is a good inexpensive cooler that will do the job.
The H5 referenced above is a very good cooler, but it is 160mm tall.
I would certainly rather have the 8600k build for gaming, however the ryzen 1600 build might be a bit better for a task like video editing due to it's 12 threads.

Yes both builds will allow overclocking the CPU.

Might want to edit your post before the moderators do it.

Thanks i might go intel cos i wont be doing videos everyday.

It doesnt come with stock cooler?

Hard to find that in my place.

I guess if im on a budget ill go AMD and if my budget can hold ill go Intel. Thanks for your helps.
