So, I'm attempt to build a PC for the first time, I have owned other PC's but have never made my own parts list before. I'm fairly happy with what I've chosen but I need some help with cooling, I'm totally lost.
I've chosen an i5-8600k, and I do want to be able to overclock it, though I'm not sure to what degree.
The case I've chosen is a Corsair Carbide series 100R. It only has 150mm of space for a cooler according to Corsair's website. This limits my size on air coolers.
So what I'm looking for this is: A cooler capable of supporting overclocking to a moderate degree or better that hopefully fits in the 100R and isn't insanely expensive, though I would rather spend the extra money than face large performance losses due to heating. I know... its a lot of requests.
If the 100R is too restrictive can anybody suggest a case in the same price range with a similar setup with similar noise levels?
