i5 8600k fake

i bought an i5 8600k tray in this month january 24 2018. but in the specs it results it is a KabyLake instead of coffee lang i am confusing and the temperature is up to 90 + above % someone help me please .

300 series chipset only work with 8th gen cpu

Thats kind of odd. What does it say on the chip itself? Should say i5 8600k somewhere, if it says intel confidential then you got an engineering sample somehow.

Or try updating CPU-Z like said above you are on version 1.76 the latest is 1.83.

Well it's an 8600K according to what it says. Kaby Lake didn't have 6 cores.

The high temps could just be a poorly installed CPU cooler.
Which might cause throttling of the CPU.
Which leads to bad performance.

Yes as USAFRet said high temps can cause poor performance. Your CPU cooler may not be properly installed. Here are things to look for. Make sure the sticker has been removed from the bottom of the CPU cooler. Make sure your fan is plugged in to the CPU fan header. It should have 4 pins to plug into. Make sure you used an adequate amount of thermal paste. Usually a pea sized amount is the right amount. If you followed the steps i just gave you it should run properly if it's an issue with the cooler. Since you have a water cooler follow the directions in the manual for hooking it up properly. It's possible that the pump may be disconnected or something.

the fan pin radiator ive put on the system fan and the other pin was in the cpu fan is that correct? or do i have to switch this two pin , because there are two pins

At the very least depending on how high of an overclock you want, get a 240mm aio cooler. 280mm would be better as would a 360mm aio. I am running currently at 4.8ghz on a Corsair H100i v2.0. When gaming Battlefield 1 the highest temps I see are 72c mostly in the upper 60s though. Was running at 5.0 but did not like the temps in the upper 70s with an occasional jump into the 80s. Actually thinking on pulling the trigger on the new Corsair 360 pro rpg.
