i5 8600k OC can't OC

As the title says, i can't OC, the bios saves the settings, but it doesn't changes anything anywhere, W10 still says i have an 3.6ghz i5, the same for ubuntu 18 or Mac OS High Sierra, even the "ez mode" of the bios still shows that i have stock speeds and voltages. RAM oc just fine at 3200, so it is just the CPU. Also latest bios patch.

RAM: 16 GB GSkill TridentZ RGB 3200MHz

Where are you looking in W10? If you are in the about section, it is not gonna show your overclock. It is just going with the stock speeds of the CPU. I would download Intel XTU and see what that shows. It will show what frequency your CPU is running.

It says my max freq is 3.6ghz, and everything stock like, it even disables turbo mode

Have you tried clearing the CMOS and starting over on the OC? Maybe you changed a setting by accident.

Download HWmonitor and look the actual core speed when putting load on the CPU.
On my computer Windows Task Manager says I7-7700K @4,2GHz but my CPU is actually running 4,5GHz on all cores under load.

[strike] Max are 3.6, it doesnt even activate factory turbo mode, and the temps are really low, so no throttling, i have come to the conclusion that my motherboard is faulty, and i cant even RMA it by this point

Edit: and yes, i tried clearing the cmos [/strike]
EDIT 2: I somehow managed to do it, i have to activate performance mode AND turbo mode, so i have a perpetual turbo mode 24/7 at max core speed, there is no other way around.
