I have a i5-8600k and my case can't use and air cooler, my only option is and 120mm water cooler. I don't plan on overclocking but I got half off on this processor so i didn't get the non-k version.

My question is will the EVGA CLC120 be enough to keep my i5-8600k under 70c with a load?

Solution
I don't think I can say "for sure" it will....but my expectation based on what I've seen is that I would be pretty surprised if it didn't. I think most water coolers should keep most CPUs under 70C if the CPU isn't overclocked.

I have an i7-980 and an i7-7800x that don't hit 70C maxed out only using air coolers.
