[SOLVED] i5 8600k upgrade?

I was wondering if it's worth to just upgrade my CPU and if yes with what?

My configuration:

I5 8600K

MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PLUS

16 GB DDR 4 Ballistix 3200

2070 Super

If your not going to use hyper threaded apps then for gaming that is great CPU along with general desktop usage. For apps that are HT then you will lose out on about 25 percent performance boost being a i5. So if your cool with that hold off no need to upgrade you just spend a ton on a video card which does the trick. Your CPU will keep up with that GPU so your good IMO, just sit steady for a while.
