i5 8600k vs i7 8700k for Arma 3

I mainly play Arma 3 altis life and Koth and am looking to get a new processor and deciding between the two thanks for the help.

Just for playing those games, 8600k should be enough. But if you are streaming or recording at the same time, then 8700k should be better.

I don't usually record or anything but will i see much of an fps boost in the i7 vs the i5?

Minuscule maybe. Not worth the extra price you pay. Better stick to the 8600k.
