Hi, I am looking to upgrade to a better processor. Out of these which one is the most worth it and good for gaming. I want to use it mostly for gaming but also for other purposes. So which processor would you guys recommend for the best performance throughout the whole computer?

xxironstealxx Not enough information to give you an informed opinion. What is your intended purpose? gaming only? gaming + streaming? details on other purposes? Also, what are your current specs? Is this an entirely new build, and if so, which components have you already bought or plan to re-purpose? what's your budget? What are the main games that you wish to play and at which resolution and frame rate?

Skip the Mobo, Memory , and Cpu upgrade for now, the i5 4670k is a solid gaming processor. I would maximize your budget for the Graphics card for now, Nvidia's RTX cards and AMD's upcoming cards look quite nice.

Right. Get the solid GPU now, and you can transfer it later to the new build. If you bought the top CPU and left in your old GPU, you'd still be quite handicapped in terms of gaming.
