Hey!
i have studied this a bit since i got a i5 8600k cpu with 3200mhz (32gb) ddr4 ram on my computer.
i am not really 100% sure so my question is; Is it okay to have such a ram speed with this cpu?

Why isn't it? I'm not sure why you are asking the question.

I recently bought a new setup. Even though i got a ryzen CPU, i bought 3200mhz ram. I knew i might not be able to use all of that frequency but i wanted to get fast ram. The ram you are looking at might be faster than the official supported speed. But odds are you'll be able to run it at 3200MHz or something close to it.

Yes, you can run that speed of ram in your computer, but it will downclock in speed to 2666 MHz. It will only run at full speed if you enable XMP in the BIOS, however, you need a Z type motherboard to do so (Z prefix on chipset name). You can enable it, but you might not notice a difference in performance, except in memory-intensive tasks.
