[SOLVED] i5-9300H vs i7-9750HF

Hey Guys,
I am a first year Computer Science student and I am planning to buy a laptop for programming and Gaming, also I wanna try my hand at Photo and Video Editing.
I am highly confused between two Laptops.
Legion y540 (i5-9300H, GTX 1650, 8 GB DDR4 2600mhz) and Lenovo L340 (i7-9750HF, GTX 1650, 8GB DDR4 2400mhz)
Now, the problem is that, Legion has expandable memory upto 32 GB(2 slots) while L340 has 16 GB(Single Slot).
Legion has a better battery of 57 Wh as compared to L340 which has 45 Wh.
But, L340 has i7-9750HF, while Legion has i5-9300H.
Should i choose L340 which has a better processor, or should i choose Legion which is more Upgradable?

Being you're looking for an opinion I'd go for the faster CPU as 16GB is enough memory for what I do and battery life isn't that important to me.

How much ram do you need?
I imagine that 20gb would be sufficient on the L340.
But of that 20gb, only 8gb will be running in dual channel mode.

The graphics are similar.

Either processor should be fast enough.

I think I would look at other factors.
For example, a good ssd is a must.
It may pay you to buy a unit with a minimal hdd or ssd and plan on replacing it yourself.
How much do they weigh?
If you will transport them to class, that will be a factor.
What is the display? A higher quality display would be important to me.
