Question i5-9400F or i5-8400 ?

Hello. I want to upgrade my CPU and I have B150M Bazooka Plus motherboard and currently my CPU is i5-6402p . When I check the CPUs in my price range there is this new CPU i5 9400f and of course the classic 8400 and new one is actually 170$ where 8400 is 200$ on amazon. Looks like the new one is slightly better than the old one so I was planning to buy this new CPU from Intel. Is there something I don't know ? any suggestions?

Neither of those two processors are compatible with your current motherboard:

your options (excluding the lower end Pentiums, etc.) are 6100-6700K, and, 7100-7700K, where the latter 7th gen processors might require your MB to possibly need a BIOS update...

(Check your MB's supported CPU list to make sure before purchasing)
