Question i5 9400f or i5 9600k?

So I got my 9400f yesterday, now I have promblem
should I return 9400f and get i5 9600K? because I will upgrade my gpu recently
it seem everyone think 9400f is not worth it, is 9400 really that bad?

if I stick with 9400f, then I will get RTX2060
or if I get 9600k, then I will get second hand GTX1070ti

Which one is better?

Then I would go 9600k. With a mild overclock it is significantly more powerful than the 9400. You will need a decent cpu cooler.

They are basically the same 6core cpus. 9600k has 12% higher turbo boost clock and enabled OC. 9400f has disabled graphics. That's it.

If you have 9400f already, then it's not worth to upgrade to 9600k (unless OC is important to you).

Well, I'll choose 9400f + 2060 instead of 9600k + 1070 ti. Rtx 2060 performs better than 1070 ti. But are you sure 9400f + 2060 or 9600k + 1070 ti? Not other way around?
9600k is not worth upgrade if you have 9400f unless you OC.

i would go for the 9600K if i got extra cash.. just for reminder.. the 9600K doesn't comes with CPU cooler.. you should buy a decent air cooler or liquid cooler.. and yet the intel's "K" CPUs are for the customer who'd like to running on high speed
