Hi there,

Yes, this is pretty normal. In fact it's rarely a round number. The CPU speed, comes from the bus speed. Often the bus speed is advertised as 100mhz, and when used with the CPU multiplier (for 4.9ghz it would be 49 x 100) so you'd think it'd be a round number of 4900mhz, right?

Well, the bus speed actually fluctuates a little. It's not static at default. For example, mine runs at 99.73-99.76 typically. Multiplied by my CPU multiplier (40) I get 3.963ghz or 4ghz if you round it up.

Nothing to worry about.
