Hello tomshardware community,

I've been wondering about my PSU for this future build of mine.
I am planning to use my current PSU a Cooler Master G650m (650W, bronze one).

The build is going to be comprised of these parts:

MB - Aorus Z390 ultra
CPU - i5-9600k
GPU EVGA rtx 2080ti ftw 3 (11G-P4-2487-KR)
Cooler Noctua Nh-u12s
SSD - Samsung 960 evo 1tb
RAM - 32gb (2x16) Gskill 3200Mhz (F4-3200C15D-32GTZR).
Case - be quiet! Silent base 601 (2 fans preinstalled) + I am going to put one noctua NF-A14PWM from my current set up.

The GPU says it needs a minimum of 650W but realisticly am I going to get there?

P.S. I will be gaming on a rather bad monitor at first (1680x1050). Afterwards planning on a 1440p 144Hz.

What are your thoughs?
Thanks in advance

A min of a 750W PSU is needed, don't even think about using that POS PSU you have now in your wildest dreams.

You will be bottlenecking the heck out of the GPU until you get that 1440P monitor.

Massive bottleneck.

Get a good high quality 750W PSU or you will regret it.

Corsair RMX
EVGA G2
Seasonic Focus Plus.
