So my brother wants to buy a new cpu (also new mobo and RAM), so I tought he could choose the i5 9600k.
Is this cpu a good option for gaming paired with an rtx 2060? Are there better gaming cpu's out there for around the same price?

There are cheaper options on AMD motherboards, but expect to pay close to that for Intel.

I'd take the amd personally, the Intel is 6c/6t vrs Ryzen 8c/16t
