[SOLVED] i5 9600k Motherboard Compatibility

I have a GA-Z270P-D3 MOtherboard with an I5 7600k.

I wanna upgrade to the i5 9600k because of the amount of cores and better performance. Its simialr to the i7 8700k but cheaper. Anyways I wanna overclock as well so I need a motherboard that can do this/. I looked at motherboards for it and many required a bios update wehic required another cpu or something weird like that. I also don't want to spend 200 on a motherboard when I m already spending 260 on a new cpu.

No your motherboard will not support a 9th generation Intel CPU. While many Z370 boards will with a bios update, that is not the case for your Z270.
