I5 9600k+RTX 2070 or I7 8700k+GTX 1070ti

Hello, i want to buy a new pc purely for gaming. With my budget i have these options.

I5 9600k with a RTX 2070 or
I7 8700k with a GTX 1070 ti

What would be the best option for gaming in 1440p and maybe if its possible 4K

Both options cost about the same.

Thanks for your answer. I understand that I7 8700k and 2070 is the best but i cant afford that. Its either a i5 9600k and 2070 or i7 8700k and 1070ti. Its a 200,- price difference. Would you say its worth it to save a bit and go for i7 and 2070?
