just 2 questions. 1. can the i5 get a healthy oc by just changing the multiplier in uefi bios like an amd fx can, or does it require voltage changes?

2. is it even neccessary to oc an i5 since they are so damn fast?

though i will be playing planetside2 so ocing even an i5 may be neccessary

Solution
Depends on the CPU, say the 3570K, generally up to 4 GHZ or so won't require much more than the multiplier change, just take it a step at a time, then if it bluescreens give it just a touch of vCore, any problems let me know the CPU and the mobo
