Hi, I'm planning to upgrade to an i5 4670 but i'm undecided on a k or non k version. i have had no overclocking experience but i will have the equipment to do so, with a corsair h100 in my current build. The motherboard was going to be the Asus z87-C. the price difference is only going to be $10AU between the K and non K. This build will be generally used for gaming, with a gtx 770 or even two within two months of finishing this build.

Thanks in advance!

Solution
If you buy the z87 motherboard then buy the K, since z87 is the only one that (officially) will overclock your cpu. Otherwise if you don't buy the k then you can buy a cheaper mobo as well.

As a 4670k user, I'd recommend buying the k, since even a small oc (4.0ghz) is pretty easy to do.
